Framework Agreement for Chartered Engineer and Consultancy Services for the Defective Concrete Blocks Grant Scheme (Lot 1 and/or Lot 2)
Ulster and Connacht
The Contracting Authority, (the Housing and Sustainable Communities Agency (Housing Agency)) wishes to establish a Framework of suitable qualified competent Chartered Engineers to survey, assess, sample, test and categorise dwellings in accordance with the current I.S. 465:2018+A1:2020 (I.S. 465) and the soon to be completed review of I.S. 465, issued for public consultation as the Draft I.S. 465:202X (revised I.S. 465). The Chartered Engineer will be required to provide certain Specialist Skills described elsewhere in these documents either through their own resources or through the use of sub-consultants. The Framework will last for a period of 2 years (Framework Period), which, at the sole discretion of the Housing Agency, may be extended by a further 2 years (maximum 4 years total). The Framework will consist of a maximum of 8 (eight) participants. If, during the Framework Period the Contracting Authority requires Engineering Services, the Contracting Authority may procure the work by awarding contracts (Services Contracts) in accordance with the rules of the Framework Agreement. The Contracting Authority may also procure the work in other ways, and does not guarantee that any work will be procured under this agreement.
