Scanning probe microscopy (SPM) instrument
General requirements
The instrument will be used to conduct fundamental research in surface science, including, but not limited to, imaging, manipulation and spectroscopy of individual atoms and molecules, and nanostructures thereof, on metallic, semiconducting and insulating surfaces. The instrument will be operated by a team of doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, led by a principal investigator.
