The service delivers evidence-based interventions focused on physical activity, nutrition, psychological well-being and behaviour change; enabling patients to optimise their health prior to their cancer treatment for patients registered with a Wirral GP.

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB - Wirral Place intend to award a 1 year contract via Direct Award C to the incumbent provider to deliver the Cancer Prehabilitation Service in Wirral. The contract will start on 1st October 2026, expire on 30th September 2027 and has an option to extend for a further 6 months. The annual contract value is £180,862.
