NTNU shall procure a complete system for trawling and catch monitoring for the research vessel FF Gunnerus in Trondheim. The system shall monitor the trawl ́s geometry, stability, bottom contact, depth and temperature in real time, view the trawl ́s position in the water masses in accordance with ICES standards, handle both bottom trawl and pelagic trawl with different trawlers. All trawling parameters shall be logged continuously and exportable in standardised formats for research use.
