Lewisham Council are intending to award Community Drug and Alcohol Service, under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, Competitive Process.
The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years, commencing on 1st April 2027, with an option to extend for up to a further 6 years (3+3 years) at the Council's discretion.
The total contract value for the service will be £41,309,988 over the 9 years.
This is an intention to award notice for the Adults Community Drug & Alcohol Misuse Service.
The overall purpose of the Service is to support individuals experiencing drug and/or alcohol related harm and to increase the number of people who enter, remain engaged in, and successfully complete effective treatment.
This procurement was undertaken using the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Competitive Process, in accordance with the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
This notice is placed to set out Lewisham Council's intention to award a contract under the Competitive Process of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR).
The Service will place a particular emphasis on quality and meeting the needs of individuals with drug and alcohol needs, delivering a broad range of evidence based interventions tailored to risk, need and clear recovery goals.
The Service will operate as a core component of the Lewisham Partnership System, working collaboratively with statutory, voluntary and community sector partners to ensure a consistent, recovery oriented approach is embedded across the borough.
