Scotland Excel is seeking to establish a multi-supplier framework agreement for the supply, delivery and servicing of hygiene products, janitorial supplies, cleaning chemicals, washroom solutions and cleaning equipment on behalf of participating local authorities and other eligible bodies across Scotland. The scope of items covered in the framework will include but not be limited to paper towels, cleaning chemicals, hand soap, refuse sacks and cleaning equipment such as mops and buckets, vacuums, scrubber-dryers, sweepers, rotary machines, and carpet extractors.

Paper Products

This lot covers the supply and delivery of paper-based hygiene and washroom consumables for use across a range of public sector facilities. Products may include, but are not limited to, toilet tissue, hand towels, centre-feed rolls, couch rolls, facial tissues and associated paper consumables. The lot is intended to support the day-to-day hygiene requirements of participating authorities and may include both standard and environmentally sustainable product options.

Janitorial Products

This lot covers the supply and delivery of janitorial products to support cleaning, waste segregation and disposal activities. Products may include, but are not limited to, refuse sacks, recycling bags, cloths, sponges and mops.

Chemicals

This lot covers the supply and delivery of chemicals. Products may include, but are not limited to, detergents, disinfectants, sanitising products, floor care products and specialist cleaning solutions. The lot may also include environmentally preferable products and concentrated solutions designed to support sustainable cleaning practices.

Sanitary Products

This lot covers the supply and delivery of sanitary and period products for use across public sector facilities. Products may include, but are not limited to, sanitary towels, tampons, period underwear and associated products designed to support access to free period provision and wider wellbeing initiatives.

Washroom Solutions

Supply and Delivery of Washroom Solutions. This includes but is not limited to a range of free on loan sanitary waste disposal units, nappy / incontinence waste disposal units, sharps disposal units, swabs and dressing disposal units, dual vending machines (sanitary towels / tampons), toilet seat sanitisers, wc sanitisers, air fresheners and dustmats.

Cleaning Equipment & Associated Products

The Supply and Delivery of Cleaning Equipment & Associated Products. It is anticipated that the scope of the equipment covered under the framework will include, but is not limited to, vacuums, scrubber-dryers, sweepers, rotary machines, carpet extractors and robotic and autonomous cleaning equipment.

Service & Maintenance of Cleaning Equipment & Associated Products

The Service and Maintenance of Cleaning Equipment & Associated Products. This includes but is not limited to the preventative maintenance, inspection, repair, servicing and replacement parts for cleaning equipment.

One Stop Shop

This lot is for the supply and delivery of a One Stop Shop for the following lots: Lot 1 - Paper Products Lot 2 - Janitorial Products Lot 3 - Chemicals Lot 4 - Sanitary Products To be awarded a place for Lot - One Stop Shop, Tenderers must have been successfully awarded onto all of the lots listed above. A separate score will not be awarded for Lot 8. Scotland Excel reserves the right to consider a bid which does not meet the stated requirement for award to Lot 8, considering the overall level of response for a Council area to ensure full coverage.
