The Kristiansand region Fire and Rescue IKS shall procure a new, compact vehicle mounted fire lift. The fire lift shall be stationed in Lillesand and shall mainly be used for extinguishing and limiting fire from heights, rescue of persons and work on roofs. The vehicle shall be adapted for commitment in areas with densely constructed wooden houses, narrow streets, narrow junctions and limited parking options. Lillesand centre and the port of Brekkestø will be dimensioned for the vehicle ́s accessibility, display and range.
