Norges Bank ́s Supervisory Council plans to announce a competition in the first half of 2027 to purchase external auditing services of the Central Bank of Norway. The contract will have a duration of six years and includes auditing from the 2028 financial year. The agreement includes auditing of Norges Bank's annual accounts, including the management of the Government Pension Fund Global (GPFG), as well as a statement on simplified auditor control of the interim financial statements of the GPFG/NBIM. The supplier is expected to have experience with auditing complex organisations and good insight into international asset management. The contract can also include audits of subsidiaries.
