The aim of the procurement is to establish a framework agreement for the delivery of equipment, consumables and  production services for the production of standardised brands for locations and equipment in Helse Sør. East.  The procurement shall support the implementation and use of uniform physical and digital identification of  locations and equipment based on international GS1 standards. Locations shall be able to be identified by  use of GS1 GLN and the equipment shall be able to be identified by use of GS1 GIAI, in the form of GS1 Digital Link and  other standardised GS1 syntaxes. Through the use of international standards, marks shall be able to  be used by digital systems in Helse Sør-Øst, e.g. systems for Facility Management  (FM)/property management, clinical logistics, medical engineering, ERP, etc.   The procurement shall result in:  - Standardised types of brands for locations and equipment.   - Support for multiple information carriers on brands   - Support for local production of brands   - Support for production of large volumes of brands as external services.  - Standardised production basis.   - Secure management of business critical information. The procurement includes systems for both local production of brands in the health companies, and production of large volumes of brands. The system for local production can include production equipment, necessary software and/or integration components, consumables, equipment for encoding/programming NFC and UHF RFID, training, support, maintenance and documentation. The contracting authority will, together with the chosen supplier, establish a set of standardised brand types that will be used for the production of labels for locations and equipment. A tag type is a documented specification that specifies how a brand should be designed and produced.
