The Contracting Authority in this procurement is Målselv municipality k.nr: 5524 The Contracting Authority shall procure the leasing of official vehicles for use by several municipal departments. The procurement includes vehicles that shall cover a broad spectrum of service needs, including health and care services, mental health, residential and follow-up services, as well as operations and property. The objective of the procurement is to ensure access to reliable, functional and cost efficient vehicles that are well suited to municipal service production, local driving conditions and usage patterns. The vehicles shall contribute to efficient service execution at the same time as emphasising comfort, safety, universal use and low operating costs. In order to achieve an appropriate and clear procurement, the vehicle need is structured in a limited number of vehicle segments based on their size, area of use and function. Tenderers are free to submit tenders for one, several or all sub-contracts.

1. Compact/medium sized passenger car 5 seats

The segment is for compact/medium sized 5 seater passenger cars for ordinary municipal service transport. The vehicles shall cover daily transport needs for employees and users within health and care services, and be suitable for frequent driving between different locations. The vehicles shall have good comfort, sufficient load capacity and good winter properties, as well as be suitable for all-year use in Northern Norwegian conditions.

2. Large passenger vehicle/minibus 9 seats.

The segment comprises large passenger cars/minibuses with up to 9 seats, facilitated for the transport of several passengers simultaneously. The vehicles shall be used for service transport, particularly within health and follow-up services, and it shall be suitable for planned and regular passenger transport. There are requirements for good space, high load capacity, comfort and security, as well as robust properties for operation under demanding climatic conditions.

3. Medium sized goods van

The segment includes medium sized goods vans for use in municipal operations, maintenance and stand-by. The vehicles shall be adapted to transport equipment, materials and tools and they shall be able to handle both daily assignments and acute needs. There are requirements for good loading capacity, flexible and functional fixtures, as well as high operational security and accessibility, including suitability for demanding climate and terrain.
