The current analyses shall be maintained and the automation system shall have the capacity to ensure an annual increase of 4% from the analysis volume in 2025. The automation system shall cover the disciplines of clinical chemistry (including lowering and ionised calcium), immune chemistry, haematology, coagulation, infection serology, HbA1c and allergy and auto-immunity. It ought to have a high degree of flexibility both as regards the physical system and middleware, and it should easily include new analysis instruments, modules and tests (analyses) that can be relevant in the coming years. Later expansion with other disciplines than those mentioned above can be relevant.
