ADVANCED ESA shiphandling
The Norwegian Coastal Administration provides training for maritime pilots operating in Norwegian waters, including advanced ship-handling skills for various vessel types and environments. This procurement concerns the rental of facilities for advanced manned model ship-handling training. The courses are designed for experienced pilots and focus on practical exercises to further develop clarification of skills and operational understanding. The contract includes provision of facilities, technical personnel, logistics, transportation, and accommodation. Training instructors are provided by the Norwegian Coastal Administration and are not part of this procurement. Co-use of the facilities is acceptable, provided it does not negatively affect the training.
INTRO ESA shiphandling intro
The Norwegian Coastal Administration provides training for maritime pilots operating in Norwegian coastal waters, including ship-handling skills for a wide range of vessels and conditions. This procurement concerns facilities for introductory manned model ship-handling training. The course is aimed at newly certified pilots and focuses on developing fundamental skills and understanding vessel behaviour for ships up to 150 metres. Detailed learning objectives and course content are specified in Appendix A (exercises) and Appendix B (focus areas).
