Temporary traffic management services required that are critical to the safe and efficient operation of works undertaken across SSE’s areas of operation. Key elements of the required service include: • Rapid-response traffic management for emergency callouts (as little as 2 hours’ notice) • End-to-end management of traffic management schemes, including: o Design, planning, and implementation o Permitting and maintenance of all temporary traffic control equipment, e.g. traffic lights, barriers, cones, signage • Attendance at pre-site meetings and design reviews where necessary • Robust communication and coordination with operational teams • Adherence to all relevant statutory and safety requirements (e.g. Chapter 8, Streetworks Regulations)
