Renova is planning to integrate a carbon capture and liquefaction (CCL) plant at the existing waste-to-energy plant in Sävenäs, Gothenburg, by 2031. The project aims to capture CO2 from one out of four incineration lines at the plant with the capacity to capture and permanently store approx. 100 000 tons of CO2 p.a.
