Framework agreement
Helse Nord intends to enter into a framework agreement with Vygon (Norway) AS for nutritional probes and medication systems for premature babies and newborns. The contracting authority has carried out a market survey titled "Market Information: Nutrition Probes for Premature and Terminating Children", where the purpose was to identify possible alternative suppliers. The survey resulted in feedback from two tenderers who stated that they can deliver products that are initially comparable with the contracting authority ́s needs. Tenderers do not, however, have a complete assortment that covers the total need at the Contracting Authority. This can lead to an increased risk of improper use, with potential consequences for patient safety. The contracting authority deems this risk unacceptable. Based on the completed market survey and the assessment of patient safety and functional needs, the Contracting Authority has concluded that the alternative tenderers will not be able to cover the Contracting Authority's total need.
