Extension of the existing contract for SAP Application Managed Service for Integrated Financial Management and Procurement System (IFMS) for a period of 3 years will provide Post Go-Live SAP application support services for the IFMS SAP Solution following completion of Hypercare for the first entity to Go-Live, continuing through each deployment and onto subsequent deployment phases of IFMS. The IFMS system has expanded to include new users and interfaces specific to the various implementation groups through a mature and structured knowledge transfer process with the IFMS project. This has been vital to the integration of the IFMS system into HSE to date. This current Application Managed Service (AMS) contract is providing level 2, level 3 and level 4 support to the SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE) for all HSE Statutory sites and TUSLA, currently live on IFMS and this ongoing support is vital to the success of the continued roll out of IFMS to the voluntary organisations. Via active management of this contract by the SAP CoE team, HSE has also avoided, and will continue to avoid some significant time and material charges by the utilisation of the existing contract resource. Without this extension in place the following risks will result: • The IFMS system will become unstable bringing risk to the operations of the HSE, TUSLA and Voluntary Organisations, including processes such as; the ability to pay vendors, purchasing and the incoming supply of materials, management of materials in NDC and IM sites, income services, accounting and reporting. • Required system patching and future upgrades will not be supported. • The experience of 11,000 current users will be impacted as incident management and required system Service and Change Requests would be curtailed. • There would be an immediate risk to the continued rollout of stage 2 of the IFMS system as post-hypercare support could not be provided.
