Vattenfall BU Distribution operates a large number of 24/12 kV substations with substantial reinvestment needs. Some of these substations are located on sites where space is limited, making conventional reinvestment challenging.  In such cases, a mobile substation can be used to temporarily maintain the electricity supply while the existing substation is being rebuilt or refurbished within the current site. Furthermore, the mobile substation may be used for grid contingency purposes, including fault response and service restoration. Vattenfall BU Distribution intends to procure a mobile substation as part of a pilot project. For this RFI, Vattenfall would like to receive insight through a proposed Schematic layout drawing from the Suppliers, based on the Specific Requirements mentioned in Sheet 2.
