1971 - Market consultation on the intended procurement of two mobile chemical laboratories and one mobile biological laboratory
The Environmental Incident Service (MOD) is a response organisation of the RIVM that provides 24/7 specialist support to governments and emergency services in the event of incidents, disasters or terrorist attacks in which dangerous substances are (potentially) involved. Important tasks in this regard are sampling, carrying out measurements and performing analyses to determine the nature and quantity of the chemical substances and/or biological materials. Mobile laboratories enable the MOD to carry out rapid, reliable and, above all, safe analyses of chemical and biological material in the event of CBRN attacks and/or chemical incidents. The MOD has several resources at its disposal, including a Mobile Chemical and Biological Laboratory (MCBL) and a Mobile Chemical Lab (ML1). The MCBL and ML1 are nearing the end of their lifespan and therefore need to be replaced. The plan is to replace them in the near future with two mobile chemical laboratories and one mobile biological laboratory. The RIVM values opinions and insights of market parties greatly and wants to consult them before the start of a tender. In preparation for the call for tenders, a market consultation is therefore carried out in order to retrieve information. The information and knowledge gathered can contribute to better procurement.
