Intention to award notice only for Addictions Services in Westmorland and Furness. The intention to award is based on an award which will be completed following the Provider Selection Regime (2023) and the criteria of Direct Award Process C. Addictions Services provide specialist support to reduce the harm caused by substance misuse, abuse and addiction. The service delivers a range of interventions designed to improve health and wellbeing outcomes, support recovery, and reduce the impact of substance misuse on individuals, families and communities. Provided services combine specialist clinical treatment with holistic, non-clinical recovery support, enabling a person-centred approach to treatment and rehabilitation. This in turn supports individuals with a range of substance-related and addictive behaviours, promoting sustained recovery, independence, resilience and improved quality of life while contributing to the Council's wider public health objectives.

This notice seeks to inform of the intention to award a contract for Addictions Services in the area of Westmorland and Furness. The contract notice advises of the procurement and intention to award the services using The Provider Selection Regime (2023). The intent is to award the contract to an existing provider of the current services following the requirements of Direct Award Process C.
