Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) intends to procure a range of temperature and humidity data loggers to replace their existing fleet together with associated software, support and calibration services

The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) intends to procure a replacement fleet of digital temperature and humidity data loggers, together with associated software, support and calibration services. The solution must support temperature monitoring across a range of-196°C to +80°C and, where required, relative humidity monitoring between 10% and 80% RH. The system should support both analogue and digital probes, with a preference for digital probe technology, and provide local display, configurable alarms, audit functionality and connectivity to cloud-based or on-premises monitoring platforms. Equipment must be CE/UKCA marked and support calibration to UKAS-accredited ISO/IEC 17025 standards. SNBTS is particularly interested in solutions that support a digital probe calibration exchange service, allowing calibrated replacement probes to be exchanged without removing the logger from service. The service should include UKAS-traceable calibration, provision of “as found” calibration reports, and ongoing lifecycle support to minimise operational downtime.
