Information on upcoming market dialogue – Odense Letbane, stage 2 Odense Letbane is working on the delivery of stage 2 (etape 2), which will extend the exist-ing light rail with approx. 4.9 km of new track. The stage comprises a new section from the existing Korsløkke Station through Vollsmose to Seden, as well as a shorter new section of track between Vesterbro and Sukkerkogeriet. Furthermore, new and longer light rail vehicles will be procured as part of the project. The project is a key part of the further development of public transport in Odense and will also support urban development, including the de-velopment of Vollsmose. Upcoming market dialogue With this letter, Odense Letbane wishes to inform the market of the upcoming stage 2 mar-ket dialogue, which is expected to take place from week 47, 2026. The purpose of the market dialogue is to draw on the market's experience and input as part of Odense Letbane's further preparation and planning of the project and the upcoming ten-der for technical consultancy services, construction works and rolling stock procurement. The market dialogue is expected to consist of a written and an oral part. The written part will consist of a set of selected questions, which will be sent to the partic-ipating market actors for written responses. See registration details below. Subsequently, in-person dialogue meetings will be held, based on the questions sent out and the topics Odense Letbane wishes to discuss further with the market. Registration and further information Further information on the market dialogue starting in week 47, including registration, timing, venue and the detailed process for participation, will be announced on 2 November 2026 in the invitation letter for the market dialogue. On 11 November, Odense Letbane will hold a virtual information meeting about the project and the expected timeline. The questions will be sent to the participating market participants from 2 November. The deadline for responses is 16 November, after which Odense Letbane will review the re-sponses. As a starting point, Odense Letbane expects to invite all relevant technical consultants, con-tractors and rolling stock suppliers to participate in the market dialogue. However, Odense Letbane reserves the right to limit the number of participants if this is deemed necessary for the further process and timeline. Odense Letbane looks forward to a constructive dialogue with the market and to receiving relevant experience and input for the further work on Odense Letbane's stage 2.
