NMBU at Dyresykehuset Hest at Veternærhøyskolen plans to expand the existing camera system in the treadmill laboratory and the pattern passage. A special camera shall be procured for MOCAP, infrared cameras for 3D motion capture of horses under mustering (the mustering passage) and for training in the treadmill laboratory, suitable for objective movement analysis of horses for research purposes. The camera system must be validated for horseback use. The cameras must be able to be fully integrated with the existing infrastructure in the limping diagnostic centre (riding house) at Dyresykehuset hest. The camera system must be delivered with, and able to be connected and integrated seamlessly to the existing analysis tool developed for objective movement analysis of horses, validated for the purpose. The existing sytem is qualisys with Qhorse. The contracting authority has not been able to find alternative products/systems that can be integrated with this system. The contracting authority is therefore planning to award a contract without a competition on the grounds that in PPR § 13-4 b. no. 2.
