Vann- og avløpsetaten (VAV) supplies the capital with drinking water and handles sewage water. The entity is financed through water and sewage fees. The agency is responsible for the operation, maintenance and renewal of the town ́s treatment facility, as well as pipeline networks and pumping stations for both drinking water and sewage water. The agency also covers Oslo ́s share of expenses for the intermunicipal Vestfjorden Sewage Company (VEAS). Other central assignments are management of water source areas, waterway inspections with the river systems in the city, guidance and information to customers, subscribers and the general community. VAV plans to enter into a framework agreement for the purchase of steel products. VAV would like feedback/input from the market for planning the procurement. The framework agreement is for the procurement of steel products such as reinforcing mats, reinforcement iron (also cut and bent after various bending strips) flat steel, square steel, angle steel, round steel, HAE beams, hollow profiles, IPE beams, sheet steel, UNP channel steel, steel plates, door slabs etc. The framework agreement is planned to have a total length of 8 years. Tenderers shall be able to drive purchased goods to VAVs locations at least twice a week. As a starting point, VAV does not place orders weekly. See the annex for further information.
