Project Title: Supporting new and existing Community Conservancies and the adjacent parks and forests in the Kidepo-Turkana landscape of Uganda and Kenya. This Project is a three-year project funded by the EU’s NaturAfrica programme for biodiversity and livelihoods in Africa, which was launched in 2021 to support large-scale, inter-regional conservation approaches focused on the Key Landscapes for Conservation and Development (KLCD.) The NaturAfrica programme is divided among six geographically distinct meta-landscapes, one of them being the Eastern Rift Savannahs and Watersheds (ERiSaWa). This Project focusses on the Karamoja and Turkana transboundary meta-landscape and is implemented by a Consortium comprising Northern Rangelands Trust, Uganda Conservation Foundation, Uganda Wildlife Authority, National Forest Authority and the Kenya Wildlife Research & Training Institute.
