Giske Municipality invites tenderers to participate in an open tender procedure for winter maintenance of municipal roads, pedestrian and cycle paths, pavements and other designated areas. The procurement is divided into six separate lots: T1, T3, T4, T5, T6 and T7. Tenderers may submit tenders for one, several or all lots. One contract will be awarded for each lot. The services comprise standby arrangements, snow ploughing and associated snow and ice clearance. Lot T6 also includes gritting. The contracts will apply for four winter seasons, commencing as soon as possible after completion of the procurement procedure and contract signature. The planned end date is 15 April 2030. Tenderers may be awarded several or all lots, provided that they document sufficient capacity. Subcontractors are permitted on the terms set out in the procurement documents.

T1, western parts of Vigra

The lot comprises winter maintenance of municipal roads, pedestrian and cycle paths, and pavements in the western parts of Vigra. The road sections included in the route are marked in light green on the route map. The total indicative route length is 17.10 km, comprising 16.95 km of municipal roads and 0.16 km of pedestrian and cycle paths.

T3, Nordstranda area on Valderøya

The lot comprises winter maintenance of municipal roads, pedestrian and cycle paths, and pavements in the Nordstranda area on Valderøya. The road sections included in the route are marked in orange on the route map. The total indicative route length is 11.54 km, comprising 11.30 km of municipal roads and 0.25 km of pedestrian and cycle paths.

T4, southern Valderøya, Gjøsund and parts of Vigra

The lot comprises winter maintenance of municipal roads, pedestrian and cycle paths, and pavements in the southern part of Valderøya, the Gjøsund area and the specified sections on Vigra. The road sections included in the route are marked in pink on the route maps. The total indicative route length is 12.74 km, comprising 11.68 km of municipal roads and 1.06 km of pedestrian and cycle paths.

T5, Skjong, parts of Nordstranda and selected pedestrian and cycle paths.

The lot comprises winter maintenance of municipal roads in the Skjong area and parts of Nordstranda, as well as selected pedestrian and cycle paths on Valderøya and Vigra. The road sections included in the route are marked in dark green on the route maps. The total indicative route length is 23.12 km, comprising 15.74 km of municipal roads and 7.38 km of pedestrian and cycle paths.

T6, Godøya and Alnes

The lot comprises winter maintenance of municipal roads, pedestrian and cycle paths, and pavements on Godøya and at Alnes. The road sections included in the route are marked in light blue on the route maps. The lot also includes gritting. The total indicative route length is 14.91 km, comprising 12.96 km of municipal roads and 1.95 km of pedestrian and cycle paths.

T7, Giskeøya

The lot comprises winter maintenance of municipal roads, pedestrian and cycle paths, and pavements on Giskeøya. The road sections included in the route are marked in turquoise on the route map. The total indicative route length is 7.95 km, comprising 7.35 km of municipal roads and 0.60 km of pedestrian and cycle paths.
