LOT 1 Short Description of Power Supply for SIS100 Radiation Resistant Quadrupole Magnets A new international scientific research centre facility FAIR (Facility for Antiprotons and Ion Research) is under constructed next to the existing GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research. FAIR will provide antiproton and ion beams of unprecedented intensity and quality. One of the essential parts of FAIR will be the Heavy Ion Synchrotron (SIS)100. Radiation Resistant Magnets are a component of SIS100 and it requires a power supply system. The current in the magnets must be ramped up to 850 A with an absolute accuracy of 1 x 10-4 *IN. The maximum output voltage is of about 300V. This power converter will be feed by 400 V supply system. LOT 2 Short Description of Power Supply for SIS100 Fast Quadrupole Magnet A new international scientific research centre facility FAIR (Facility for Antiprotons and Ion Research) is under constructed next to the existing GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research. FAIR will provide antiproton and ion beams of unprecedented intensity and quality. One of the essential parts of FAIR will be the Heavy Ion Synchrotron (SIS)100. Fast Quadrupole Magnet is a component of SIS100 and it requires a power supply system. The current in the magnet must be ramped up to 1485 A with an absolute accuracy of 1 x 10-4 *IN. The maximum output voltage is of about 210 V. This power converter will be feed by 400 V supply system. A bidder may bid on one or both lots. If a bidder bids on both lots, the bidder may offer a discount on the respective lot by taking advantage of potential synergy effects into account. However, this is not mandatory. The contracting authority may award one or both lots to one single bidder.
