East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust intends to award a contract to the existing provider following Direct Award Process C under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The contract is for the provision of a staffed mobile CT service, including mobile CT facilities, associated staffing, generator provision and support services required to support the delivery of diagnostic imaging services for patients of East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. The proposed arrangements represent continuation of the existing service with no material change to service scope, patient cohort, locations, operating model or clinical outputs. The provider is currently delivering the service to the required standard and is considered capable of continuing to do so under the proposed contract. The approximate lifetime value of the proposed contract is £2,119,220 excluding VAT and fuel costs. The intended contract period is from 3 November 2026 to 2 November 2028.
