CAMS2_73a Complementary products for the CAMS solar radiation service segment
CAMS2_73a Complementary products for the CAMS solar radiation service segment
The successful bidder will propose a downstream decision-support application exploiting CAMS Solar Radiation Service products, aerosol information and associated Copernicus datasets that could help improve renewable energy production, infrastructure resilience and operational efficiency. The bidders shall demonstrate how multiple CAMS service elements can be integrated to generate high-value products and services for the renewable energy community. The use of complementary Earth observation data, in-situ observations, and products delivered by other Copernicus Services, including C3S (Climate monitoring) and CLMS (Land monitoring), is strongly encouraged and shall be clearly documented. The objective of this contract is to develop and demonstrate operational downstream applications supporting one or more of the following domains: dynamic cleaning scheduling, soiling risks assessment, solar asset planning and site selections, grid integration … to support operational decision-making in the solar energy sector.
