Hywel Dda University Health Board has awarded a contract to Maintel Europe Limited for the renewal of its Telephony Modernisation Subscription Service via a direct call-off under the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Network Services 3 Framework Agreement. The contract supports approximately 6,000 telephony devices across the Health Board through a fully managed, cloud-hosted Mitel telephony platform, including hosting, maintenance, disaster recovery, business continuity, performance monitoring, capacity management and technical support. The award will maintain continuity of this critical service whilst the remaining elements of the telephony modernisation programme are completed

The contract provides a subscription-based, cloud-hosted Mitel telephony solution supporting approximately 6,000 telephony devices across the Health Board. The service includes hosting, maintenance, software updates, disaster recovery, business continuity, performance monitoring, capacity management and technical support. The award will ensure continuity of a critical communication service while supporting completion of the Health Board's telephony modernisation programme and the ongoing migration from legacy telephony infrastructure to a single cloud-hosted environment.
