Bus Éireann has been awarded a contract to operate public passenger transport services under a public service obligation (PSO). This contract is a direct award public service contract entered into by the National Transport Authority for the provision of certain public bus services in Carlow, Kilkenny and Waterford. The contract is intended as a short-term arrangement, with an initial duration of six (6) months, and may be extended in accordance with the contract provisions for a further period of up to six (6) months, where required. The compensation mechanism for the contract is in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007.

Award of Public Bus Services Contract to Bus Eireann

Bus Éireann has been awarded a contract to operate public passenger transport services under a public service obligation (PSO). The compensation mechanism for the contract is in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007
