Council's Sustainable Transport, Highways and Parking Operations team provide managerial, supervision, health and safety audits, enforcement and highway inspections services across the city region to ensure compliance with the Authorities responsibilities under the Highways Act 1980 and ensure the safety of the public, contractors and Council staff. Following a review of service operations, it was identified that a further 27 vehicles were required for operational staff.

NHS Highland requires the provision of Patient Lifting Equipment Maintenance and Inspection Services, ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory requirements under LOLER across NHS Highland sites (excluding Argyll & Bute). The equipment that requires serviced and maintained shall be located in Healthcare Facilities of NHS Highland. These includes both Hospital and care home settings.
