The objective of the procurement is to enter into framework agreement(s) for the purchase of workwear, footwear and protective equipment for the Gjøvik region. The procurement is divided into five sub-contracts. Tenderers can submit tenders for one or more sub-contracts. The contracting authority can award one or several sub-contracts to the same tenderer, or award different sub-contracts to different tenderers. Tenders cannot be submitted for individual product lines within each sub-contract. Further details on the delivery, including requirements for products, assortment, delivery, ordering, environment, reporting and other requirements, follow the requirement specifications, needs descriptions, price forms and other procurement documents. The framework agreement(s) are not exclusive. The contracting authorities are not obliged to procure a specific volume from the chosen supplier(s), and the estimated values and volumes are not binding for the contracting authorities. The contracting authorities reserve the right to cover needs outside of the framework agreement(s), where justifiable, including conditions not included in the framework agreement(s), special user needs, acute needs, lack of assortment accessibility, breach, or where the procurement regulations allow for other legal procurements.

Sub-contract I - Workwear, technical operation and maintenance.

The contracting authority needs a framework agreement that covers the ongoing delivery of work wear and accompanying products for use in the municipality ́s technical operations, maintenance assignments and cleaning services. The contract shall ensure functional, safe and suitable work wear for employees who carry out physical work, often in varying and partly demanding working conditions.

Sub-contract II - Workwear - Health, care and institutions.

The contracting authority needs a framework agreement that covers the ongoing delivery of work wear, patient clothing and institution textiles for use in the municipality's health and care services and institutions. The agreement shall ensure access to functional, safe and suitable products that support proper service execution, good operation and efficient use of resources.

Sub-contract III - Workwear - Fire and Rescue

The contracting authority needs a framework agreement that ensures the delivery of work wear, operative clothing for use in the municipality ́s fire and rescue service. The contract shall cover comprehensive equipment of personnel in both operative efforts and station and stand-by functions, and contribute to safe, efficient and reliable service execution.

Sub-contract IV - Footwear

The Contracting Authority needs a framework agreement that covers the delivery of footwear for use in all of the municipality's entities. The agreement includes all footwear that is used for work, including work shoes, protective shoes, boots, sandals, kloggers and footwear that are covered by the regulations for personal protective equipment (VU). The aim is to ensure correct, functional and suitable footwear suitable for various work assignments, working environments and risk conditions.

Sub-contract V - Personal protective equipment (PPE)

The contracting authority needs a framework agreement that covers the delivery of personal protective equipment (PPE) for use in all of the municipality's services and entities. The contract shall ensure that employees have access to a correct, functional and regulatory PPE adapted to the risk conditions and work assignments that are carried out, except footwear. The aim is to ensure health, safety and working environment in accordance with applicable law and regulations, including requirements for the use of personal protective equipment.
