AWARD -The works comprise of the Service,Maintenance and Repair of the Corporate &Housing CCTV Systems Inclusive of Town Centres,Libraries, Green Spaces, Housing sites and otherCorporate sites. Purchase Orders will be providedon a call off bases from the Schedule of Rates, asand when the Contract Administrator requires siteattendance. There will be no guarantee of any levelof orders or amount of works to be requested by theCouncil in this contract. The Council is seeking a single contractor to carryout the following work schemes:- Preventative maintenance programme andresponsive repair service for CCTV equipment. Preventative maintenance programme andresponsive repair service for network infrastructure. Planned upgrade programme for the CCTVinfrastructure and hardware. The Council has undertaken a major upgrade to theexisting CCTV system and infrastructure and planto continue to grow the system. The forecastedCapital expenditure is between, £400,000 -£975,000. This will focus on building the wifiinfrastructure, particularly in the North area of theBorough to provide live streams back to the CCTVControl Room, as many cameras are on standalonesites across the Borough and continue to upgradeand complete full system installations at sitesacross the Borough as and when requested andapproved.
