Predmet naročila je digitalizacija analognih fotografij, DIA-sov in fotografskih filmov zadnjega dela fototeke Geografskega inštituta Antona Melika ZRC SAZU, ki je nastajala od ustanovitve inštituta dalje. Trenutni obseg že digitaliziranega gradiva presega 25.000 enot, gradivo, ki je predmet tokratne digitalizacije, pa po oceni obsega približno 15.000 enot, od tega 5.400 fotografij formata 9*14 cm, 7.200 DIA-sov in 2.400 posnetkov na fotografskem filmu 35 mm.
