Supply & Installation of Chalets at Heathery Wood Travelling Persons Site
Fife Council is undertaking this Request for Information (RFI) to engage with the market and gather information to support the development of a future procurement for the supply and installation of chalet-style accommodation at the Heathery Wood Travelling Persons Site, Thornton. The redevelopment is anticipated to provide approximately 14–16 pitches and seek accommodation solutions that deliver long-term value, sustainability, energy efficiency, and suitability for the cultural needs of the Gypsy/Traveler community. The Council invites suppliers to provide feedback on available solutions, delivery approaches, lead times, innovation opportunities and indicative costs to help shape the procurement strategy, specification and delivery model. Any future accommodation solution should be designed, manufactured and installed in accordance with BS 3632:2015 Residential Park Homes (or equivalent) and satisfy the definition of a caravan under the Caravan Sites Act 1968 (Amendment of Definition of Caravan) (Scotland) Order 2019.
