This tender is being run as a Competitive Process under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The community smoking cessation service will deliver evidence-based services for adult smokers who live or are registered with a GP practice in Wolverhampton. In the community, the service will provide information, advice, and guidance; self-help tools; and lifestyle interventions to enable Service Users to achieve and maintain positive lifestyle changes.

The aim of this service is to: •Enable individuals to make changes in their behaviour to achieve a positive impact on their health. •Reduce the number of smokers by providing evidence-based treatment and behavioural support to smokers making quit attempts. •Reduce levels of smoking related illness, disability, premature death and health equalities. The Key Criteria is a as follows; Quality and Innovation 60% Integration, collaboration, and service sustainability 15% Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice (inc. EDI) 15% Social Value 10% Value 0% (Pass / Fail - receipt of compliant commercial matrix) Offers will be assessed using a one stage 'open' process.
