The objective of the procurement is to award a general agreement regarding back-up for the manufacture and delivery of the new coin series.
The Riksbank will only have one supplier producing and delivering coins, and the Riksbank will only place orders according to the back-up agreement if the current agreement with KNM is terminated before its contract period expires.
