This contract concerns the Flatpak open source infrastructure that provides secure application distribution and execution for the Linux operating system. The contract comprises nine planned work packages, each designed to address identified Flatpak limitations with the goal of supporting Linux's role as a central pillar of the world's digital infrastructure. The services to be provided under the contract will further develop Flatpak's security, usability, feature set, and stability in the public interest.
