As part of the evaluation of existing digital, online and virtual mental health services for children and young people in Hertfordshire, Hertfordshire Children and Young People's Mental Health System (CYPMHS) is running this premarket engagement session to understand the current marketplace. Providers are invited along to share their knowledge and expertise, including information about upcoming initiatives and developments in order to devise an indicative tender specification which will enable future provisions of this type.

The purpose of the Council's Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) process is to allow and enable, potentially interested organisations with appropriate expertise and relevant experience to: o Outline and generate initial ideas around the outcomes, scope of the brief (i.e. with no commitment to themselves or the Council). o Engage with the Council to understand its challenges, intentions and desired Outcomes. o Provide informal input to help shape the Council's technical requirements. o Inform the Council of current market developments. o Enable the Council to understand how the Current Requirements could be shaped and delivered. o Explain potential options/technologies/functionalities/solutions available to the Council. This stage of the project allows the Council to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the options, technologies, methodologies and solutions available to deliver its outcomes. Furthermore, this process enables organisations to effectively plan for any potential forthcoming procurement. The Council will consider the input and responses received as part of this PME to help inform the Council's further decision making.
