This procedure follows the cancellation of the previous procedure PRO-2468705536. The ECB is through this Call for Applications seeking suitable candidates to participate in a negotiated tender procedure for the award of a contract for tailored Health (including Occupational Health), and Long-term care (LTC) (re-)insurance and related administration services. Insurance nature per line: Health insurance: Aggregate stop-loss insurance (re-insurance) Occupational Health Insurance (accidents at work, occupational diseases and medical emergencies during business travel): full insurance, at a 100% reimbursement rate Long-term care: Aggregate stop-loss insurance (re-insurance) Details on the scope, expected coverage and services, and conditions are described in the Call for application document.

Health, long-term care and occupational health group insurance and related administration services

The current coverage (status June 2025) is as follows: Health Insurance: around 10.500 persons LTC insurance: around 10.450 persons Accident at Work Health Insurance: around 5.500 lives From a current perspective, the number of insured persons per insurance may increase during the contract period. An increase in the number of insured persons of approximately 3% has been witnessed in the past years. This indication is non-binding for the ECB but should give an indication regarding a potential contract size. All services ((re)insurance and related administration services) under the contract shall be provided as of 1 June 2028. The contract will be signed with sufficient lead time for handover and implementation of the services.
