The International Fund For Public Interest Media (IFPIM) seeks a qualified research partner to conduct a regional gap analysis of newsroom skills, workflows, policies and gender-inclusive practices across all 30+ current grantee newsrooms in Eastern Europe. The study will assess organisational capacity, identifying existing gaps, with a particular eye to providing tailored, actionable recommendations and a Technical Assistance (TA) plan for each grantee and regionally.

Research and development of inception report, data collection, 35 organisational assessments and Technical Assistance plan

The approach involves a two-fold process: to initially detect institutional and skills-related gaps in newsroom operations and track gender-inclusive practices across all Eastern Partnership (EaP) grantee newsrooms, followed by the development of prioritised, actionable recommendations and a capacity-building technical assistance plan.
